Accommodation in Flufftail Cottage

For the wine lover or mountain enthusiast, accommodation on the farm is available. Flufftail Cottage is named after the nocturnal bird, Buffspotted Flufftail, which can be heard in the riverine bush below the cottage during summer. It offers self-catering facilities and sleeps 4 to 5 people.

There is no TV, radio or telephone, so your visit will be highlighted by the peace and quiet of the country.  There are many nature walks and hiking trails on and around the farm, besides unspoiled picnic spots by mountain streams. We have spotted nearly 40 species of birds on the farm and the hillsides are a rich display of Cape mountain fynbos.

Price: Self-catering, two bed-roomed cottage per night--R350.00 for two, plus R50.00 for each additional person.
